MTS nonwing sprints return to the unique shiawassee Fairgrounds Thursday August 7th and the Cherry Speedway Friday the 8th.

Last years 2 race weekend was an exciting one with John Lowe winning the Amain at cherry speedway. Shiawassee was unfortunately was called for rain just as the feature was pushed off.
This year looks to be another exiting 2 races with many MTS regular drivers and a few surprise drivers to make the trip to both shows.

The Shiawassee fair is located at 2900 E. Hibbard Road, Corunna, MI between M-71 and m-52

Cherry Speedway is located on M-113, 7 miles east of Kingsley, MI
or
3 miles west of the M-113 / US 131 Intersection

I am glad to see that you guys will be part of Great Lakes Nationals at Crystal on September 13 (race time 2pm) this year! With that weekend and the later Corn Harvest weekend, I promise to be better prepared than I was back in May!!

That is great to hear they added them to the nationals,That show could easily be turned into a 2 day show,common roger what ya say could be fun

Racing doesn't start until 5pm, just like last year. I will have the flyer done for you by Saturday, Roger. We went over it last night and made all of our changes. We are just waiting to find out about some sponsors. Also, Pro Trucks WILL run separate from the Pro Stocks.

Thanks, Sue. I am always the last to know. I took the info from the program. With two seperate classes being added, Trevor better NOT be taking that day off. That will prove to be a LONG day...but VERY exciting. Definately a show you WON't want to miss!!! September 13...mark it on your calendar!!! I look forward to the asphalt drivers that come over and run, too!!

As for a two day show....we had tried that and it was not real successful. Some try to make it a two day show by camping at the track on Friday night. It accomplishes the same feat . I save my multi-day special for CornHarvest weekend!! I get to talk and have a few beers at the same time!!

the corn harvest is not as of now a MTS sanctioned event.. not sure if gene wants to put us on i havent heard from him... if you need any info for drivers ahead of time let me know (roger) .. looking forward to the show at crystal .. should be fun...

Gene stated Last Sunday during the drivers meeting that MMRP will have wingless sprints for the Corn Harvest, He did not mention if it was MTS sactioned or just open like in years past.
