I'd be behind it 100 percent and I would do everything I could to get there if it were possible and if I decide to go Late model at some point in my racing it would be a race I would tow a distance to try and make. For a guy in his position to take time out of his day to say a prayer to keep a guy like me safe just tells you what kind of dude Verwayne is. Go Verwayne yer still too stubborn for this buggar to get ya!!!

QUOTE (Verwayne @ Aug 8 2008, 12:00 AM)

This might be a rambling mess as I am "messed up" on pain meds right now. A big thank you to all that have posted and to those who emailed me. I just got out of the hospital today after surgery. I'm sore and in a lot of discomfort but that is to be expected I guess. We've spent a lot of money lately on medical bills and it seems there is never enough. I've got seven prescriptions I need to have filled that won't happen until next week because I can't afford the co-pay... but I am also glad to be alive. I could bitch and moan and complain but it accomplishes nothing so I'll just keep on smiling. It irritates people.
I am glad I have taught my people how to handle the live streaming stuff and it makes me feel better to know that will never miss a beat regardless of where I am. I have a great staff and am proud of them. Yeah, things would be better if I were there but we are getting there and proving we can do this every week and are slowly gaining a steady audience. I am happy that this is taking off so well. The radio side is averaging about 2800 people a week now and a large number of these listeners are military people. They send us emails and they call the track to thank us. It is so gratifying and humbling to hear from them. My staff and the Crystal staff deserve a hearty THANK YOU for all they do to make the audio and video work each week. Roger and Trevor do a great job of keeping the airwaves filled with minimal moments of silence and it has been a pleasure to have two of the best voice our calls.
I've been working on filling out my own 'bucket list.' Florida is wonderful but we will be spending three months in Hawaii soon on the company dime. Next summer we want to go to Alaska for three months. My wife gets a new job every 13 weeks and we get to see a new area with all the expenses paid. I suppose California and then Las Vegas would be good too. All we have to do is ask and they get her a job there. When we are in Hawaii, besides seeing all the sights there are to see there, we are going to take a short seven to eight day trip to Australia. I have a friend in Brisbane and she can put us up and show us around.
I am going to finally get my book published and an old ebook publisher of my short stories has just asked me to start submitting some material. They pay pretty darn good so I know it will be a long and hopefully productive winter in Hawaii!
Thanks again. Drop me a note at my racesontheweb@gmail.com address if you need to contact me. I'm going to be very very quiet for a few days so as to rest. Once again, I appreciate the kind words.
Kind regards,
V
See what type of guy he is all the things hes got going on and at the end he says address if you need to contact me hes touched me with the type of man he is and like i said i aint met him in person but were gonna change that cause with everyones help were gonna make this happen

V is a good man. I know that he has to be embarrassed by all the fuss that is going on about helping him. However, I know that he doesn't bat an eyelash when it comes to helping out others. His heart is truly bigger than his head...and he has a big gourd for a head!! I would be 100% behind whatever show comes about.....but he knows that I don't work for free LOL!!
I will be talking with him this weekend and will send him all your regards!!
