The Nationals are returning to OWOSSO!

The format will be the same style that we organized at Whittemore in the last couple seasons.

September 26th- Friday TEST and TUNE BIG "O" FALL NATIONALS Free camping in parking lot all weekend!
Grandstand free admission. Pit and Front Gate Open 3pm. Test and tune until 9pm. Free food with your pit pass. Watch the best in the Midwest Practice. Limiteds, Mods, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and Front Wheel Drive Mini Stocks

September 27th Saturday - FALL NATIONALS RACE DAY Front and Pit gates Open at 10am. 1 hot lap session then qualifying at Noon. Racing begins at 2pm. Limiteds, Mods, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and Fwd Mini Stocks! See the best in the midwest settle who's best for the 2008 season! Camping in Parking Lot Saturday night!

Septmeber 28th Sunday- Carnage Nationals- Dirt Track Figure 8, FWD mini 100 lap enduro, Push/Pull Team Racing, Spectator Drag Internationals, School Bus Races and Trailer Destruction Enduro!

This is the last weekend that we are allowed to run in the season according to our county and we are allowed one camping weekend per season- lets finish off the year with a bang!

This is the most exciting news since...............well since you all bought the place. Ill be getting the motor repaired for sure. (if its not too bad.) Are you ready for some parking lot football, bonfires, Ed and Linda might do the jello shots, and an overall great weekend of racing. My favorite race weekend (all due respect to the world 100.) of all.

This is obviously an invite what will the rules look like? Pretty simaler or are you going to open them up?

The rules are going to remain very similar. Our east side tracks seem to attract mostly east side cars and our rules package is very close to most facilities.

If any drivers want to go to bat on any contingencies it will all go back into the purse.

the last time i ran a figure8 at owosso, it was U.S.A demoliton derby's rules, they are the biggest touring figure8 series, there is also, unique motorsports. the rules are all the same, maybe one or two diffrences,

I would advertise the dirt F8 on www.wecrash.com. A lot of the F8 fair go'ers use that site and you could probably draw a pretty big car count.

I know a few of the guys that run in the thumb, I will spread the word.

WOW I think Ill ask Stremme if I can borrow his Toter and bring the #3 up for that, that would be COOL

Now i find out Owosso is having the same type of event on the same week end.

I do not now know which event to go to.

I like both tracks and both track's racers...

so I do not know where to go.

the AC super shoe is for the 1/4 mile track, not the big track.

I really hate to admit it, but i threw my back out wicked bad that week golfing. I was in big pain for nearly two weeks. Actually it still hurts in the AM. I cant afford to miss work because I played a football game at night. Had a buddy who broke his leg back in college playing back yard ball with us and had to file for bankrupcy because of it. Not gonna happen to me. I got a race car to keep me broke.

I was just thinking what a great reflector Matts head will be on the night of the game. That place will glow!
