Sounds like Dixie is running 2 LM races tonight? What is the difference between the two? Thanks

ASA Late Models 100, USPRO Late Models 75

Nothing at all. The USPRO runs a limited shedule for those who cant afford to run the ASALM series. Much like the SUPERPRO. It'll be a great show . Gonna be there myself....My 1st time to dixie since '98 or '99

That was a pretty good show. Lots of racing for $10.

Does anyone happen to know if Dixie has a non-drunkard section? Good racing, but the second and final time I will be taking my kid there.

The north end of the grandstands are non-alcoholic.

So they ran two different shows, for the same kind of cars on the same night? I though that was the whole idea about crates and templates, the cars all the same just up to set-up and driver ability? Whats up?

YEA that makes alot of sense. CRATES AND TEMPLATES cars all the same might as well call it IROC

2 different series . Mostly differtent drivers. Uspro has a limited schedule , cheaper to run than the ASA schedule. They do run some of the same tracks ,just not as many. Friday was the USPRO championship nite.

Yep your not allowed to make fun of crates or templates on this site or you will be stoned and keelhauled. Thank you! In the future refrain from even attempting to express displeasure and crate racing in the same sentence, or we will be forced to give you 30min in the iron maiden. Gosh I cant believe you dont know that. nunu.gif

I really dont care what is said about the Crates. But is it really any different then what is going on in the mods or LLM's? The mods look very much alike, color and number are the most drastic differences. Same thing with the LLM, a hodgepodge of pieces and parts. Just look at the trouble your having trying to come up with something that"ll work for this new series. Which by the way, I'm all for.
You can think I'm being sensitive , but its more the attitude than anything else that bugs me.

I personally like the outlaw body its cheaper to fix plus i got an open motor dont make sense for me to buy a template body then drop more money for a crate motor then put my motor in the corner and let it sit it was supose to cut down on the cost if you was building a new car from scratch it might be cheaper but for me it dont make sense as far as being stoned i aint scared opinions are like butt holes everybodys got one thats what makes the world go round it suck if everybody had the same opinion

Agreed.

This is an old debate anyways, remember when the this all started? I think it was when the original Uspro concept started. I definitely don't want to go there again eek1.gif
