The 2nd Annual Kalamazoo Races Swap Meet will be held on November 8th at the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds. The event will be inside the heated Hazel Gray Building. Booth space is limited so please send your entry forms early. We have over 80 indoor booths and several more outdoor booths. We had over 65 vendors in 2007 and anticipate that all of the indoor spaces available will sell out early this year. Printable booth reservation forms are available by visiting our web site : www.kalamazooracersswapmeet.com

Door prizes will be given out at 12 noon. In 2007 we had several sponsors donate some very special items for the drawing. A list of 2008 door prizes will soon be available at our web site address above.

Because we had so many out of town vendors in 2007, we are making some changes to the way we will conduct vendor load in for 2008. This year vendor load in will begin at 3pm on Friday, November 7th and will run through 11pm. We will open vendor load in again at 6am Saturday morning, and will run it through 8am for those who can't arrive on Friday. We feel that this will better accommodate our vendors and will provide for a better swap meet in 2008.

Our Official Hotel is the BEST WESTERN, located just 1.7 miles from the fairgrounds. Mention the Swap Meet and get a discounted price for your room. Call them at 269-381-1900. 3640 E. Cork St. Kalamazoo, MI 49001. If you are pulling a large trailer there is plenty of parking available. We hope this announcement will be helpful for those of you planning to attend from out of town.

For more information Call Dan at 269-720-1760 or Harry at 269-217-7121.

Dan, can you post direction to get there from GR please.

Rob,

The best way is to go South on 131, then East on I-94 to the Sprinkle Road exit. Go North on Sprinkle Road to King's Highway/BL 94 and take a left. Go a short distance on King's/BL 94 and take a right on Olmstead and look for the signs. Another good way to do it would be to go to google maps and get directions from your house to 2900 Lake Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49048.

This was posted a long time ago, so I wanted to bring it back to the top of the list for those who may not have seen it yet.

If any of you guys are on the fence above making the drive...this meet is turning into a decent show. "Mini-Ionia" last year with parts and cars from all over the state. We have three loads headed that way.
