Congrats to the 08 nice to see him win...with being a rookie..but GOSH i wish SOMEbody "anybody would win other than the crawfords....ya it must be nice to have 3 cars out there racing against eachother...and must be nice to have all on the pole....Its to bad for murphy and lommis....would like to see lommis take the championship...but as WE ALL see whos going to win that now...just one question....if you guys are so good why dont you move up a class???? instead of taking the fun out of things for the other guys.....I will have to say that from the grandstands you really couldnt see any blocking last night...so that would be the only Good job id give them...but hey everyone has there opions now...so dont go and attack me...i usually sit back and just read these things....but i think i wanted to say something...Its almost the end of the year and People were driving like mad men....69 06 39 11 7 they were all over eachother.....but hey i wish someone else would win other then them.....it seems to get old...so maybe next year someone should think about moving up....because then you could advance your skills in another level....

I thought the races last night were awesome...Lot more passing and sometimes four wide in the straight aways.The track was far better than it was last week .Rubbin is racing and man they were getting it done last night .it was great..the fans in the stand were on there feet .Can wait until next week

Since Crawford Racing is a doing well, I expected criticism. Crawford Racing doesn’t always win. The inversion for the feature is determined by a draw from a hat. Crawford Racing goes out and qualifies just like everyone else.

As far as Loomis, Crawford Racing couldn’t be more upset, especially since he was being beat up by the 39 and the 69 prior to being put into the wall. In fact, Crawford Racing has offered Loomis a car for next week if he can’t get his up and running again.

As far as the number of cars, Crawford Sr. ran one car last year, and now his son (06), and nephew (08), along with a good friend who didn’t have a ride (07) run. Trying to put young drivers in cars is Crawford Sr. goal; if he wants to help young drivers he can’t have cars in a multitude of different classes. It’s too expensive. Street stocks are a good class to learn and have fun. Crawford Sr. could be selfish and drive a modified or late model, but instead he likes sharing with others, so they can learn and have fun in the sport. The pockets only go so deep. It wouldn’t matter what class Crawford Racing was in, they’d be criticized for something, that’s part of racing.

As far as the driving, it’s getting close to the end of the season, and Loomis unfortunately got the worst of it, but the 06 did a great job passing the 07 for the lead in the feature, and the 7 won the heat with a broken A-frame. That took some great driving. Points racing is difficult, as most drivers will agree.

I’m sure not everyone agrees with my opinion, that’s why they are called opinions. But I’m proud to be a fan of the Crawford Team, and very proud that the 08 has his first rookie win.

Hats off to Mount Pleasant Speedway - The entire show last night was much improved from the previous weeks.

If you foot the bill, I'm sure anyone would LOVE to do that... however moving up is not a option for most of us anymore.

well of course your a fan of the crawfords so you wouldnt see it any other way...but It doesnt look as great when poeple are booing him from the grandstands because people cant stand him...I know a few drivers...but through my husband.. and i know that he is NOT the nicest guy...and I understand wanting to let his son drive and have a group of cars...BUT maybe he could be a little selfish and move up a class...just him...i like to see his son race just because he is so young and needs the experience.....and what do you mean by SHARING with OTHERS...so you mean blocking so nobody can get to the front....its hard to race someone when all three are in the front....and then one on the top side and then one in the middle and one on the bottom...i dont know what you call that but i know blocking when i see it...ANYTIME the 7 could of passed them but he just keeps blocking...i remember two weekends ago lommis was the fourth place car and he was beatin on the back of the 7 because he wouldnt move they just ran the same line...WHICH i dont blame them for not wanting to give up positions but COME ON.....but who knows maybe i dont know what im talking about..but i do hear alot ....and i have been comin to the races for 10 years. I heard that the 7 last weekend kept getting yelled at on his reciever because of his restarts....????? My husband talked to some streetstock racers friday night and we hear a couple are moving up because they cant stand the 7 attitude...racing is racing...you are going to have that....but when you are telling the other drivers that you need to go home and work on your car because it isnt worth s*$^.....and that he builds them everyday..come on...be a little more sportman like.....and we are good friends with a modified driver and he said that the guy is always like that...thats why alot of people dont like him.....so i just want to see some racing.....enough of those 3 cars Racing eachother..i wouldnt mind them racing together but they seem to only race themselves.....and yes i know about the inversion...but i know if i comment about that i would start a whole bunch of crap and i really dont want to do that...i just wanted to say some things about the last couple of nights.....my husband raced awhile ago....now we just sit in the grandstands but we have never seen such team work with cars its crazy....so tell me if the 69 had two other cars what would you think???? Hope everyone gets their cars back together to see some good racing friday...bringing up some friends so i hope its some good racing..

what i think i saw friday night was- o7 was runnuing a great race as he is the best driver of the crawford crew. then , he seemed to allow 06 and 7 to pass him. do you think maybe the car owned told him before the race to back off so he and jr could finish ahead ? if so, what a farce. points sure spoil racing !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well you can ask the 07, no tells him or any of the Crawford Team how to race. They are very competitive amongst each other. Ed is a good driver, but if you watched his car wasn’t working well on the bottom.

I AGREE FULLY!!!! Big fan...i think that 07 was racing VERY WELL....but like ALL of a sudden with 5 or so laps to go it looked like 07 just moved up so the 06 and 7 could pass....hahaha points do screw up racing..and so does bad sportsmanship.....and that they have alot of right now...... i could name more people on my hand and feet that wish that something would give with those people...give it a break now....but hey im not the only one that thinks this way...why dont you sit up in the grandstands and hear the booing....for them....I love the streetstock show because it always is good racing..but now that he has 3 cars racing and they ALWAYS seem to be 1 2 3 go figure...but whatever right...what we say doesnt really mean anything to them..they are still going to go out there and try to all get qualified the same Because really they are the same cars just didnt numbers right....so what can ya really say about it...but they will have their time to shine and then they wont...hopefully someone else will shine this friday!

AND SERIOUSILY streetstockfan....im sure if we were to ask the 07 im sure he wouldnt be like ya...crawford told me to move up so they could pass and jr could win and competive....NO selfish.....when you are doggin out the other guys...about there cars being shitty...thats being a little selfish and rude...maybe if they were all mixed up in the pack and really RACED it would be better... why if this guy thinks he so good why dont he start selling and building cars like some guys do?? Im sure everyone would just flock to get a good car like that........

Oh my gosh, are you serious. Crawford team is good at racing and just because they win you are mad, boo hoo cry me a river. And I'm sure the only ones who are upset are the 37, 39, and 69 teams. From where I sit they are the ones who can't stand someone beating them, and this is true because Loomis wouldn't have a damaged car if it wasn't for them. THREE times this year alone Loomis has been put into the wall by one of those three guys. SO don't sit here and say all this about Crawford when the 39, 37 and 69 beat on everyone and anything. AND if you are at the races you would know that, the 39 thinks he can hit anyone and everything. Also you are showing POOR SPORTSMANSHIP because you are jealous that the Crawfords are a good race team, and I'm just a fan in the stands for Loomis racing.

Can't take the heat than stay off the track .He need to stop blaming other for his misfortunes, And lets talk sportmanship .Why every time someone pulls into the pit exit they are greeted by the middle finger by the black team thats parked there..
I also beleive that the black team ,(Crawfords) teams up together and thats only my opinion and with that note everyone will just have to get better and faster .I know some of those younger teams have gone to Crawford.. to try in get some know how from him only to be criticize,belittle of your car,driving skills ..come on you should be ashamed of yourself ... your a race icon..been there.. done that .
You should be encouraging these young drivers to do there best and to not give up. and he wonders why he gets booed .And as far as Lommis ,I think he has approved greatly this year but he needs to stop complaining about everyone bang on him ..he doing the same thing but that is what we pay the money for .I want to see the guys trying to get to the front not just sit there and follow each other .
Everyone of us will see the races differently and all have a right to our opinion.

First of all you are right if you can't take the heat then get off the track, and obviously the 39 and 69 can't take it when oh my gosh someone is in front of them GIVE ME A BREAK! ALSO MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET YOUR STORY STRIAGHT... the black team doesn't give the middle finger, how about when the 69 pulls into the pits and almost runs somebody over, because he is a pissed off little boy, I saw that along with many other people in the stands. Also how do you know what goes on in the pits or in Crawfords pits for that matter, are you there? Do you see it? I don't think so. Also Crawford racing does incourage the young drivers, obviously in the pervious post other person said that Crawford would let Loomis drive one of his cars, or can you not read? But of course you are a Spencer fan and oh my gosh poor Spencer can never get a break. But I'm just a fan who sits in the grandstands for Loomis!

Well I think that is very nice of Mr Crawford to lend a car to Josh...I for one would like Josh to finish the season ...Sure I can read ,I'm reading that your blaming someone else for a racing incident that happens every week , it racing honey . Yes I am a Spencer fan ,Im also a Lommis fan ,Murphy fan ..pretty much all the street stock I love to watch races ,If your going to put on a good show I'm there to watch .I can see stuff from the stand same as you .I maybe be old but I can still see ..But as I said before rubbin is racing and Josh does his share just like everyone else, come on its fun to watch them charging to the front .sure some are going to make and other will not ,thats why we go back week after week .I'm also there to support my husband and cousin in the late model class and many others that races at Mt Pleasant and I also go to the pit every other week and I can see back there too....The bottom line is we all need to get along and show better sportmanship all around , sure not every week your going to be happy about every issue or call but we are all doing something we love and when there's nothing but bitching than its not fun anymore is it !!!!.

Yeah everyone does need to get along but seriously no one will, because some people won't and can't grow up. Loomis is a GREAT driver, but he does not do what the 69 and 39 do on the and off the track. Also I know what racing is, I've grown up around it. Talk about bitching, all Street Stock Fan was doing is saying how happy she was about the Crawfords winning, and then people feel the need to come on here and attack everyone. So who is bitching now??

It was unfortunate that Loomis wiped out his car, but man that was some good racing. It was also unfortunate that Nate was sent to the pits. I wanted to see those two up there giving the Crawford clan a run for their money. Like Toni said it was hard racing they ALL have the option of lifting out of the throttle for a second. It was racing they were all headed the same direction, I dont think any of it was intentional. Like BIG FAN said that sucked to watch 07 let baby and daddy on by, it was obviuos and yes 07 is the best driver and nicest one of the 3 or 4 or however many they'll bring this week. Great racing up there though.

I agree with SuperStreet fan20. It’s almost funny that someone can’t even congratulate a first time winner, without the same poor sports from the track coming on here and showing their POOR SPORTSMANSHIP again.

I agree with streetstockfan and superstreetfan20. If everyone would worry about their own cars and equipment and not everyone else's cars maybe we wouldn't be in the situation that the street stock class is in with all the complaining going on.

First of all you don't know who I am, so don't you dare tell me what I can or can not do with my phone. You don't know me and you don't know where I sit. Secondly I don't like being called a girl, so get your facts straight. And lastly if I want to be on my phone I can, plenty of other people are, so go whine to them. Like I've said before I'm just a fan in the stands for Loomis!!

I hate to say this, but Loomis didn't wipe out his car, Spencer and Murphy took him out intentionally!! From where I sat and everyone else, that is what we saw..Spencer came down on Loomis and Murphy turned up into him and put him right into the wall...it's on tape. This is not the first time they have tried to take him out. Murphy put Loomis into the wall in the heat race and gave him a flat tire, and he couldn't finish the heat race. Then a few laps into the feature Spencer was chopping him off in the turns, Spencer & Murphy sandwiched him and Murphy turned right up into him and put him in the wall...that is why Murphy was sent to the pits!!! Rubbbin is racing, body slamming is not!!!!! So unfortunate?? NOT!!! After Loomis was put in the wall, Murphy was sent to the pits, Spencer kept slamming into anyone and everyone he got close too. There may be 3 Crawford cars out there, yeah, they run block for each other, but they are not dirty drivers like the others mentioned. Friday night (Aug. 22) if Loomis was a dirty driver #39 & #69 would've been in the wall for sure. As far as Crawfords running 1st, 2nd & 3rd, they draw numbers, they qualify and that's where they end up. Yes, racing is racing but, there are limits. Attack if you want, but you know what they say about opinions.

Not being biased for one racer in particular, I think fans see a lot more than you do whether you have it on tape or not. Too bad you were in the pits you could have heard the booing...hurts don't it? If Chad doesn't intentionally beat on other drivers why was the flagman raising his arms up like "wtf"???? after Loomis was put into the wall and after he was towed to the pits..Oh, uh people do know who I am, if you don't, that's your problem. I see you in the pits almost every week. Yes, I agree that Chad is a good driver and a nice guy but "rubbin" is "rubbin" and slamming is slamming. All drivers rub but have never noticed Loomis slamming intentionally. We all understand that the championship/points is coming to an end and all the drivers are getting a little hot headed, hence, Murphy being sent to the pits and slinging dirt/rocks at the officials (uncalled for)..We fans know who is going to end up in First and Second place.

Hi I'm Josh's mom Amy, I am new to this forum. I am simply amazed at what is going on here. I have great respect for the Crawford race team as well as many others, but the bickering is out of control. We all like to hear "positive" comments about our drivers. Along with the positive there will always be negative comments as well, wich as adults we should be able to deal with.
Having entered this conversation at such late stage in the game, I almost dont want to interject my thoughts but, Both Murphy and Spencer were involved with putting Josh into the wall, and yes, Spencer and Josh have talked and overcome the whole incident. They just want to get back to racing and get ready for next years season. I would also like to add that Kevin Crawford is not the nearly the monster that everyone makes him out to be. He was kind enough to offer Josh a car to race if his car was not put back together, wich in itself was a great act of kindness coming from an opposing driver. So lets get back to some positive comments about racing, and get ready for next Friday's championship race.

i know i said i wasnt going to comment back but....i agree with you amy.....and i think your son has done very well this season....and "WE" wish him all of the luck..im glad that chad and josh have overcome the incident.....because we always were there for josh and jeff when they needed us...and we would always hope they would do they same for us.....and it was just taken out of control when we all became so called revials....with the crawfords..which is another thing that we wish would all could overcome...but...you guys dont understand what "kevin" has personally said to chad....he started it with what he said...and i wish you guys would all see that to....because chads not a monster either...and im sure kevin isnt either but WHY?? did he be so rude to chad? So we are just going to walk away from the whole situation when the season is over....because its not worth having people think we are "BAD" people.....

Hello everyone. I started this post over a week ago, to congratulate a first time win for the rookie Aaron Olson of Crawford Racing, but felt it was unfair to only congratulate one of the team members when the entire time had a good night of racing.

I don’t get on here and attack other drivers, but I do find myself defending Crawford Racing. As I said in my very first post, when I was new to this site, that I felt Crawford Racing was being unduly trashed about a month ago, and pointed out some discrepancies in the information that was being posted.

This post was meant as the post was titled, “Congratulations Crawford Racing” and nothing more. So to those of you that do not like Crawford Racing, fine, but remember somewhere in your childhood being taught “If you don’t have anything nice to say than don’t say anything at all.” A congratulations should have never been attacked, if you don't like it, be the adult and just move onto another post.

So Spencersgirl if you are SO GROWN UP then why do you come on here and talk crap all the time, because poor Chad can not win a race. Yeah Chad racing harder is a JOKE, he can't run the same line twice. Also if you think Crawford's are so rude to you THEN maybe you should show the same respect, but I think that is to hard for you to do. Second of all if you agree with Amy then you are obviously lying about Josh coming to your team saying that it wasn't your fault, obviously he didn't if his mom said that isn't true. Third of all YOU don't know me so how do you know if I talk to Josh and his team or not, because I have never seen you in his pits. Fourth of all when you are screaming in the stands it makes you look bad, and makes you look like a sore loser and POOR SPORTSMANSHIP, but you wouldn't know what sportsmanship is would you?? Also I know that Josh has moved on, and he isn't like some of you people who will put others into the wall all season like your Murphy, and yes even Chad. Otherwise I just laugh at you, because I am not the one looking like a foul like you do.

Oh my gosh, are you serious. Crawford team is good at racing and just because they win you are mad, boo hoo cry me a river. And I'm sure the only ones who are upset are the 37, 39, and 69 teams. From where I sit they are the ones who can't stand someone beating them, and this is true because Loomis wouldn't have a damaged car if it wasn't for them. THREE times this year alone Loomis has been put into the wall by one of those three guys. SO don't sit here and say all this about Crawford when the 39, 37 and 69 beat on everyone and anything. AND if you are at the races you would know that, the 39 thinks he can hit anyone and everything. Also you are showing POOR SPORTSMANSHIP because you are jealous that the Crawfords are a good race team, and I'm just a fan in the stands for Loomis racing. and this was WROTE BY...SuperStreetFan20
