I want to pat Auto City on the back for moving the start times in September up by half an hour to 6:30. Qualifying is usually over by then anyway, so getting the show started earlier is a great idea considering the temperatures when the sun goes down. I say next year they should do the same in April also.

WTG Auto City!

Well, it is August still, September isn't for 3 more Saturdays.

How much more notice do you need?

Its a good call for families who try to keep their kids on a schedule. My daughter will stay up till 4am, but my son is out by 11:30pm. They both need sleep and dont get it on race nights. Theres no reason not to start a little bit earlier on Sat. Hope they dont do it on Fri cuz people just cant make it with work.

They should have done this years ago. great move. Have to agree about 6:30 start times in April too. get them shows in earlier. I have spent many nights at race tracks where I might as well have went ice fishing. 2 years ago mid October I wore my fire retardant shipboard jacket over my firesuit because I was freezing IN my race car. My wife didn't even watch my feature it was so cold. we should have started racing at like 5:30 that night and that was way way south of Michigan.

Great move Auto City Speedway.

as long as someone reminds me the week of...that it has been changed it is a great move....but im usually there when the pits open anyways

I was told it is in effect for this saturday is that enough notice for all the fans? you guys really need to look at the big picture all the fans an how fickle they are what is the one thing people dislike change

I do see now that this Saturday starts at 6:30. I agree Fred that is not enough notice. Then next Saturday at 7 and then the rest of the year at 6:30. I agree Fred thats not a very wise decision. If it was just for September, which is what I originally thought when I looked at A/C website when I made this post I thought it was a good move. But switching start times in this manner is not smart.

The next 2 Saturday's should be 7 and then 6:30 for September.

well if you check out what all is going on, on saturday at the city, you will be glad that they are starting at the earlier time. and everyone pray the rain stays away until midnight or not at all that night.

The 6:30 for this week has been on the schedule for two months, the Maximin Destruction had to stay at 7, because of all advertisment, and the September shows change due to weather in Septmeber, told to me by Sandy AC's office.
