hats off to stop fixing cars in turn1 repair center. it sped up the show and was a good choice.
it will even be better when we can get lineups a little speedier so no 10 lap yellows and i know it isnt easy and a work in progress. the management knows how to treat people .

i would also like to say that i was throughly impressed with everything at owosso except one thing, 3.50 for a cheeseburger that was smaller than a mcdonalds double cheese burger? ha but that's minor. i had more fun saturday than i have had all season. my hat is off to jeff and rick for the way owosso is being ran. i'll be back for the nationals for sure.

I had a pretty good time on Saturday. I thought there was a pretty good field of cars and a great crowd. The autograph session added a nice touch. The only thing that seemed out of balance was the number of caution laps throughout the night. But that could be any track(well not a select few dirt tracks) on any night. We will be back again. Maybe not this weekend but for sure before the end of September.

I heard the black flag was flying whats the skinny on that? Inquiring minds want to know. Maybe the track was saying you fellas better calm down huh?!?

I seen the black flag a few times but I think it may have been for over running qualifying times.

It's just what I remember seeing.

It's too bad that you couldn't have made it out. They started 21 or 22 pures in the feature. Lots of A/C guys were there.

Kyle, We sublet our concessions this year to a business that comes in for a set amount really because we did not have time to organize a concession and purchase equipment in the short time it took us to own the place.

We are planning on improvements over the off season.

For other concerns that were listed we are at work on them as well.

We will have additional spotting staff to help see when there is any rough driving stuff going on and it will be cracked down on further.

We are being careful in how we go with staff/volunteer additions, but we see the need along with some of our customers.

The flagman has been asked to be more pro active with the black flag with warnings and with using it when rough or dirty stuff happens.

Some stuff still slipped by and it always will, but we are adding staff to help keep an eye on things on the track.

Chevelle! I am trying to get it back out ASAP. Im just too broke to make any progress on it. Im very much a low budget racer, so it could be awhile!

The food at the Owosso Speedway is some of the best I've ever had at a race track. I purposely starve myself before we leave JUST so I can fit the maximum amount of pizza in my stomach. The prices for some things may be a bit high, but it's SO worth it.

At least in my opinion.

look at the prices of popcorn and a drink at the movies then the prices looks pretty good at the races

Was at Owosso early in the night then ran over to Springport and watched some racing only to be back at Owosso in time to watch the features from the pure"STOCK"s the mods and the pony's was some great racing.The mod race was one of the best I have saw in a while and the Pure stocks them cars really get around that place for bone "STOCK"cars

The black flag flew a lot for somr really dumb reasons, also the 30 caution laps didn't help. But all in all it was a fun night of racing.

We'll put on some 970's and go to the local Walmart and buy probably 12 cans of compression for the sled.
