I have a 1994 Bonneville w/ 3.8 liter and automatic transmission that will not start. It ran fine for a while and then i shut it off and it wouldn't start again. The car will turn over but it won't start, it doesn't seem to be getting fuel, but the power windows will not work either when this happens. I have no idea what this could be so any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you check fuses??
although it's a coincident
as for the windows , it was common for the wires to brake in the sleeve where the wires
go from the door to the body...
hope this is helpful...

Yes to both questions. We checked all the fuses and they were fine and the car does have spark when it's turned over. Any other ideas?

Windows are usually on a circuit breaker. You probably have a fuse link at the starter that is bad. It would feed several circuits at the fuse block and explain the 2 problems. Tug on the smaller wires that connect to the big stud on the starter (the big red wire is hooked to it). If the link is bad, the wire will stretch like a rubber band.
-This would not explain the windows but...
Also check power to the fuel pump relay. There is most likely a test connector that year you can jump if needed to check the pump. Pressure needs to be high on those for the car to start. Like about 50 psi.

we had a 1992 cavilier that sounds like the same thing ran fine one day and the next day it would roll over and would not start
we check the fuel pump fuel fitler and all fuses we found out that it had some bad wires on the computer harness.

find a fuel pressure tester and see what its at with key on engine off. should be between 60 and 66 psi. if its below that, un hook the return line, and then key on engine off again, pressure should go up, above 66 psi. if it does not, then you need to find a restriction in the return side. (highly unlikely). that step is just to cover your bases, what you should do is take a pair of vice grips and pinch off the return line on a flexible hose part, and short out the relay for your fuel pump by cris-crossing a jumper between the two terminals. then monitor your fuel pressure, more than likely itll be low, around 50. then replace your pump and your fuel filter.
noid lights are helpful too to see if your injectors are working.
