What will be the 2009 rules change for Crate Engines?

I have heard that the car companies will no longer sell sealed engines, and that each series will have to provide its own sealed engine program.

so what is the future of Factory Sealed Crate engines?

All manufactures will still sell the "sealed" crate motors for 2009 and beyond. The resealing of the motors is the issue that the manufactures are discontinuing. Each racing series and /or track will have to provide the "reseals". ASA has been doing this for over a year through there certified engine rebuilder program.
