Anyone ever felt terrible after a race because you wrecked somebody, and you didn't really get a chance to apologize to them because they were in the middle of telling you how bad of a driver you are? I raced at Auto City in the sportsman yesterday and the entire race was just a complete mess on my part. I'm not sure if anybody that I happened to run into reads this forum, but I just wanted to apologize so that I don't have it on my mind all week. I got a little anxious and stuck my nose where it didn't belong...you live and you learn right?

I tell my son; don't get too high ( when you win) don't get too low (when you crash out). I always tell him in the chute; your job tonite is to drive the car on the trailer at the end of the night. That is all that is expected of you when your a rookie. He does drive better when he's pissed off though........

don't worry about it Curt.
the one your worried about has been in your shoes more than once this year.
only I dont think he feels sorry about it.
thats racing, just dont let it happen again laugh.gif
I didnt know what happened to you, I figured I would come into the pits and apologize for holding you up.
man, i raced my a$$ off trying to stay on Fast Eddies rear and ahead of you, and no-one was behind me.
that car was a handful, to say the least.
but dont lose any sleep, i think you are one of few that didnt hit me
see you friday

Like everyone has said, don't lose any sleep over it. Like Dale said, the guy you were trying to apologize to has done the same to people this year, and I'm sure doesn't feel bad. Everyone makes a mistake once in a while and its racing. Live and learn, move on to next week, and just keep your head up.

If I remember right, you took me out this one time, and man did I rip your head off when you came to my pit. rofl3.gif banana.gif

Lol Chris I've never even touched your car, not sure how I could take you out. If I did, I'm sure you probably deserved it icon_smile.gif
