This upcoming weekend is the beginning of the end of the season as the track celebrates Labor Day with its traditional two day show. Grandstand rain ticket holders will only have to pay the extra $2 for the special event.

Sunday's event finds the Soaring Eagle Winged Outlaw Late Model Series making CMS the final leg of the series three track, three night series and they will crown their champion at the conclusion of the event. These winged late models feature huge 'boards' that can increase speeds by 10 to 15% down the stretches and through the turns. The late model fans will find this show to be one to mark on their calendar because in addition to the winged cars, the regular Late Model division will also be on hand. The IMCA Modifieds will have the evening off for those attending special activities for their division in Boone, Iowa. Ticket prices will be the same as Saturday's event, $12 for adults, $4 for kids, and pit passes are $25.
