One of the top weekends for racing at Winchester Speedway is finally here...the Labor Day Weekend World Stock Car Festival. Its camping, parties and oh yeah, racing! 7 Divisions will be on hand, with open practice on Saturday, practice, qualifying and prelims on Sunday...and then on Monday...7 Features! Sunday night's party in the Pavillion is always one for the record books. Many Michiganders make it an annual trip, both fans and racers. We hope to see you there!

One of the divisions on hand will be the return of the Short Track Trucks Challenge Series. There are alot of rookies in the series this year who have never even seen the race track... I cant wait to see them when they get out of their trucks for the first time... to quote me from last year - "Holy &*#$"

Old84,, yes it is about an hour,, as long as you don't hit any of that great country traffic.

Kyle,, the first time you were out there could you see anything more than the bottom side of your truck roof??? I think you have the quote just about right. Now if they repave Salem, you could have holy s #$& 2.

The upper left corner of the windshield... almost wish I had a lexan roof too. That place is insane icon_smile.gif icon_smile.gif I loved racing there, and would again in a heartbeat. Like 53speeder put it, the only thing better than going fast is going REAL fast! My first time out I thought I was hauling the mail untill another truck flew by me like I was standing still... needed to step it up a couple notches

If anyone from the MSTRC is going, I'll be somewhere on the infield working as a tech official for the Short Track Trucks. Come on over and say hi.
