This Friday is the last night of regular racing at the Dixie Motor Speedway, and with it being championship night I was wondering if anyone had any predictions.

It will rain in Wisconsin. So dixie will be cancelled

The ground was wet at 1:00 and was still overcast. I know it sucks when it rains, trust me, but Dixie did the right thing by cancelling

I can't believe another good thread is going to be ruined, because some people just dont understand the general concept of business. Rain=no fans=no money=owners lose their ass....lets all get over it, and enjoy the few remaining events we have left until we are shoveling snow once again

muddy pits = messy track = bad racing

Some people will be the first to complain either way. If they got their tromped around in the mud and got rained out they would have complained. Even if they had wrecked a car they would have blamed it on the wet pits and dirty track.

I think it would be safe to say that Miller has the factory stock class rapped up with over 133 points on second place. this year it was miller time

some people should just leave weel enough aLONE. SEEMS TO ME THAT IT HAS BEEN A PRETTY NORMAL YEAR AND FOR THE MOST PART WERE TREATED PRETTY FAIRLY. Dixie wrote a pretty long appology letter on their home page....for all of you who think they made a bad decision, Mike actually admits it was a bad call, but justifies himself also.

I also believe that Jay Reinbolt will pull it off in a neck to neck battle with bennett....that would be sweet!

THank you CAptainCAm for your support, I sure hope so, I dont know if we did well enough to earn those honors, but it was definately something I wanted really bad this year....if nothing else I learned A LOT, and will take this knowledge forward to next year!!!! *(Fingers are crossed though)

I just read Mike Kern's article in the Michigan Racing Scene explaining his thought process on why he canceled last weekend. It was a pretty classy move on his part, and really gives you an understanding as to why he made, in his own words, the wrong call last weekend.

It takes a man to be able to admit you are wrong, and an even bigger man to do it in a weekly periodical. My hats off to Mike, it isn't as easy as a lot of people think. Most of the time, it's damned if you do, and damned if you don't.
