Auto City has cancelled for the rest of the weekend!!

on the web site the rain date is sunday does anybody know if they are running it sunday?

When I called at around noon Joe told me they were cancelling for the weekend because tommorow looks worse than today. I don't know if they will make it up or what

i live about 5 miles south of the track, its been misting and raining on and off here. sounds like a good call to me, then again, i welcome a break from racing anyways, its been a long season.

I heard on "the street" that the mudslinger is being rescheduled for the 16th??? IS THat true??? I hope so.....we will be there if so! If anyone can confirm that for me it would be great!!! thank you

That would be nice. Was the Mudslinger the Main Event race? Can't remember.

I spoke to theMain Event series today and they said as far as they are concerned it is cancelled. So my tow up there was to run for the Main Event guys, I will not be back for anything that the track puts on.

The track lost money the night before and did not want to take that risk on sat so they axed the deal.

Heaven forbid they sell some sponsorship for the event, I mean they only had a year to do so.

Sunday was gorgeous so to not run it then was stupid. All GOOD paying events remain this month, AC will not get any cars if they put on a show.

I can't believe you went back this year for this race...

The website says it will be run on September 30th with the championships.

The Mudslinger will be raced on the 30th, but the "main event" series race is not going to be raced...so just a special auto city show...
