What kind of gear would I need to run my street stock at Winchester. We usually turn around 7000 rpm.
I am not sure exactly what my tranny is but right now my rear end is a 3.90 for the 1/4 mile.
Would a 3.23 rear end gear put me close??

The gearing for Winchester would be a 4.56 or 4.88. I use a 4.56 and see 6800rpm. Some do use a 4.88 and see 7200rpm to 7400rpm. This is with the trans in high gear.
