with the sportsman championship and a lot of gimic type of racing the house was packed and a lot of fun to watch from chain car racing to watching kern roll a bowling ball at a pin 400 ft away to buss(spelling?) racing that is what promoting is about,great job mike to giving fans a good time!

Anyone have Sportsman results/how many were there/any regular factory stocks give it a go?

Well mod19 in this day and age everything comes down to the all mighty dollar and it looks to me that the Barnem $ Bailey shows are where its at, so CONGRATS to Mike for being smart enough to know that. It seems to me that there is racing there every Friday night, so one night of this kind of stuff is not a big deal.

Obviously, its something the fans like to watch. There is standing room only everytime Dixie has one of these events. The profit must be well worth it b/c the track surface sure looks like it took quite a beating.

In reply to mod19, the show was one of the best I have seen all year obviously you could not have been there.The 4/10's mile at dixie was greaty, Im really glad I gave it a chance.My dad got a little cement scratch but he's ok.We outquilified all the factory stocks that showed up and even a couple of sportsmans.I ran 2nd in the heat from 7th and my dad had a fast car until getting pinched off in the wall hard off of turn 4 wich broke the control arm off the rearend. big thanks to mike kerns and staff who let us use the pole barn and welder to fix it. I started 10th and my dad rollled off 12th. I think it was the only night I didn't get a dent or a scratch all year, there is lots off racing room which made it easy to pass and have a good time.I Jim miller Jr finshed 7th beating all factory stocks that came and 3 sportsmans. My dad finished 9th after some rearend and frontend repairs. So mod19 I think there is only three letters to describe the night WOW!!!! :bana: :bana: :bana:

Well if racing is what you want then do not knock Barneium and Bailey ,,,it helps pay the bills and makes profits ,, there fore when you do race the track will be open and there will be money for improvements hey its all our faults togays youth need to live on the edge !!!!!! great job ! keep rocking the Barnium Bailey all th e kids love it!!!!!!!!!!and they beg to go watch the very guy putting you down!!!!!on the nites the circus is not there!!!!!!!!! :wink:

BEin part of the circus must be awesome. I would like to thank the kerns family 4 a good time. me and the pit bull ( duane damon) had a good time bein what some might consider the CLOWNS. we won the chain gang race and had a blast doin the rollover. the stands were packed and from what i seen, and heard every body had fun. So congrats to the kerns and thank u for lettin us be part of the show.... lookin forward to doin it again.
