Will be there if we get championship night in at Auto City. Orange #22 Auto Pride Collision/Duke's Car Stereo Monte Carlo Factory Stock.

Mod 911 will probably be there depending upon rules and their enforcement or lack of. I do not want to drive up there to find out someone has faster tires or aerodynamic panels everywhere and all they will say is have fun and quit bitching. So I will bring street stock tires and wicker bill or bob panels to attatch everywhere and a 6,8 and 10 inch spoilers. Let someone else have the being at a disadvantage. So someone should publish exactly what rules will be enforced and which fun stuff will not even be checked. Oh did I mention tyhe sprint nose I have substituted for my from panel,just for fun.........hahahaha

We will also be making the trek up with the M15 Monte Carlo as long as we make it through tomorrow.

BTW Kyle, we just fabricated some wheel protectors for the left side of the car, mainly the left rear.LOL (Spartan hint)

RACING SHOULD BE FUN FIRST!!! IF NOT, WHY DO YOU DO IT?????????It is always going to be competitive, it is the nature of the racer, then you through money into that equation, makes it even worse. Our rules are the Whittemore Speedway Mod rules (www.whittemorespeedway.net) or the MMA rules. You have the choice of removing your roof - Not adding anything. The tire rule is the Hoosier 970 or the MMA American Racer - NOT THE AMERICAN RACER STREET STOCK TIRE.
I think we are more than fair at Whittemore Speedway. Our rules for the past 2 years have involved the drivers refining them. Our first season with the mods produced between 18-22, we must be doing something right.
If you were the tech guy for a day, what would Dick Mauer inspect at the invite???

Our race weekend is Saturday the 30th. Our rain date will be that Sunday, the only thing is that rain will keep some of the A.C. competitors from making the trek north.

rain wont keep us from coming... Called the track and if it rains out tomorrow the raindate will be the finale. This is what I was told from the track if it is true is another story!!!

Andy, I don't have a problem with any rules as long as they are enforced. Read Nicks post from Toledo last night and see how his eyes have been opened.Most really appreciate rules enforcement by a fair and unbiased person.Most tech guys are not mechanics or engineers just ordinary people trying to do a job they are not really trained for. So a lot of serious violations are not even recognized.
I like rules that are spelled out and enforced. FOUR WHEEL WORKING BRAKES MEANS JUST THAT. YOU NEED 4 BRAKES,4 ROTORS,4 BRAKE LINES TO THESE 4 WHELLS. 5 INCH SPOILER MEANS 5 INCHES AS MEASURED WITH A RULER AS ORDINARY PEOPLE MEASURE IT. NO WICKER BILLS AND BOBS MEANS NO AS IN ZERO.
It is fun and I like to do it but fair is fair. I have showed up legal many time just to know by driving thru the pits the rules were thrown out.Not fun at all to be 1 lap down already.
I do realize that telling cheaters they are not able to race with their car as it is may not be good for the car count and maybe for the show,but the show and the competititors have different agendas.
That means that like i said i will bring 10 inch tiresif the rules say 9,6 inch spoiler if the rules say 5. hydraulic traction control rods if the rules say no, some side panels to attatch my spoiler that we are not supposed have at all, that aer bigger tahn the next guys who always does it. 2 INCHES OF REAR SPOILER IS IMPORTANT.
Or maybe we could enfore these rules we have and i could just coem as i am and race and have fun.I hope you can see my reasoning.
If someone can go to all the trouble of planning the trip i am sure they should be able to read the rules. published rules and homeboy rules should be the same. Thoughts anyone?

Hey Jeff the motorhome is about 27ft,talked to Cale early tjis week and might park it over their but will need a ride to get it on fri.Where is your shop at anyway's Jeff.I may do something like that so it is a little closer.

Tim, You may want to think about this. Dale may have some kind of motorhome rental deal on the side, You may have house guests from Pinconning or any number of other towns you didnt bank on.

Don't matter to me Jeff, will just be me and my youngest , Heather so there will be plenty of room.Would rather see someone crash in my motorhome than on the way home!Uhoh dinner's done better go.

Hayden racing will be there in "almost" full force, missing one car. as kyle stated the #22 monte will be there, so will the #6 camaro, #64 Monte, and also Matt Mosier Jr. will be driving the sarge's #32.
